A Sign You Are Growing in Grace....

How little we know and how much we still have to learn about living in the grace of God!

A sign you are growing in grace is that you are more disgusted with your critical spirit than offended by others’ sins.

A sign you’re growing in grace: As intriguing as iPhones, iPads and all things “i” are, only Jesus is compelling to you.

A sign you’re growing in grace is a commitment to pray for people you’d really rather gossip about.

A sign your’e growing in grace: If you don’t know, you don’t pretend you do.

A sign you’re growing in grace. The gospel still astonishes and humbles you. It’s not just cliche or the name of your tribe.

A sign you’re growing in grace is praying for our government rather than simply being cynical about our government.

A sign you’re growing in grace: You boast IN your weaknesses but you don’t boast about them. They don’t define you.

A sign you’re growing in grace: You’re intentional about not spending all your time with Christians.

A sign you’re growing in grace: “Rewards” means throwing crowns at Jesus’ feet, not better furniture for your “mansion”.

A sign you’re growing in grace: You define success less by how much you do in a day and more in terms of how well you love.

A sign you’re growing in grace: You don’t condescendingly roll your eyes as often or make as many flippant remarks.

A sign you’re growing in grace: You can tell when you’re starting to manipulate people and you nip it in the bud.

A sign you’re growing in grace: When telling your story, you end up talking about Jesus more than you.

A sign you’re growing in grace: You really believe that the best and most defining thing about you is that you belong to Jesus.

A sign you’re growing in grace: You blame less and forbear more.

A sign you’re growing in grace: You handle your failures with honesty, humility and hope.

A sign you’re growing in grace: You don’t sabotage your repentance with lame excuses or empty promises.

A sign you’re growing in grace: Reformed Theology isn’t doctrine by which you judge others but truth by which you’re prostrate before God.

A sign you’re growing in grace: Your family believes you love them more than your job, ministry, money and sports.

A sign you’re growing in grace: It doesn’t take as long for the Holy Spirit to get your attention.

A sign you’re growing in grace: It’s not about you getting “bitter or better”; it’s about grace exorcising all your bitterness.

A sign you’re growing in grace: You expect to be convicted of your sins and convinced of Jesus’ love ten times over.

A sign you’re growing in grace: It doesn’t take as long to get over bad days, failed expectations, and personal slights.
